Wealth Buliding
smarter, NOT harder
Manifest Abundance that Supports Your Dream Life
A few years ago, I decided that I needed to learn how to work smarter, NOT harder. I became very aware that I only had so much energy and time. I grew up in a hard-working middle-class family and like most Americans, learned to work and make money trading time for dollar. While there’s nothing wrong with this method and it’s admirable, when we trade our most precious commodities, time and energy, for money we have a really difficult time getting ahead and winning financially.

I’ve always been intrigued by the statistic that only 1% of Americans control nearly 40% of the nation’s wealth, and I went on a mission to find out how they do it.
I grew up being taught to budget and save my money. I didn’t love the idea of constantly poring over my finances. I considered myself to be – to borrow an endearing term from the late Nora Ephron – fiscally whimsical. I didn’t really want to deal with it, I just wanted to have it and be able to use it how I wanted. However, I now understand that each one of us has a relationship with money, and we need to understand that relationship and how money, wealth, and abundance work before we can receive more of it.
When I was young, I dreamed of a better life with less financial struggle for my family and myself. As I started working and living my adult life, wealth seemed like it was harder to come by than I had originally thought. I became a single mom, and after a while I began to lose hope that I would ever be wealthy, much less have extra money. I finally figured that I was born middle-class and would stay there throughout the rest of my life.
As I started learning about having and practicing the right mindset, the more I discovered that the successful and wealthy people of our society really do think differently and have different habits than most people. Some of the most common habits they routinely practice are:
being consistent with mindset work
daily facing their fears (yes, they have them)
taking calculated risks
building wealth by having their money work for them.
As an early 20-something, I read Robert Kyosaki’s well-known book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and was introduced to the idea of having my money work for me versus me working for my money. But I still had so much to learn…
If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.
~ Warren Buffett, Billionaire
WHAT?!
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to work until I die if I don’t have to!
As I began doing my mindset work, I began meeting people and making friends with others who knew MUCH more about wealth-building than I did, and I was SO excited to finally be understanding more about this world that I definitely didn’t know enough about.
You Deserve the Freedom of understanding your money
I want you to have the freedom to do what you want with your life! Understanding money, how it works, your relationship with it, learning to use it as a tool, and having an abundant mindset is exactly how you can have whatever lifestyle you want.
An idea that made perfect sense once I learned about it is the concept of having multiple streams of income – or MSI’s. I think we can all agree that things are shifting in a big way financially in our entire society right now, and I see a huge benefit to having money come from different sources and industries and not just from one place.
